Washington, D.C. — Nichols Law PLLC is pleased to announce that Partner Phil Beshara has been appointed to the Board of Directors of Global Ties U.S., the national nonprofit that has partnered with the U.S. Department of State since 1961 to advance international exchange and public diplomacy through a nationwide network of community-based organizations.
Through that longstanding State Department partnership, Global Ties U.S. helps implement the flagship International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) and other exchange and public diplomacy programs. It leads the Global Ties Network, which today comprises more than 70 nonprofit organizations serving all 50 U.S. states and bringing current and future world leaders into local communities throughout the country.
“Phil’s appointment reflects the same qualities he brings to his clients and colleagues every day: commitment to public service, sophisticated policy judgment, and the ability to build trusted relationships across government, business, and civic institutions.
Global Ties U.S. has an extraordinary mission, and Phil will be a thoughtful contributor to its work strengthening U.S. communities and international partnerships.”
